Board of Directors
The Wayne-Holmes Mental Health & Recovery Board is a part of Wayne and Holmes County government that is governed by a volunteer board of 18 Directors.
Board of Director Members are residents of either Wayne or Holmes counties. They make application and are appointed by the county commissioners, Ohio Department of Mental Health (ODMH), or the Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services (ODADAS).
Some members are selected to represent family members, consumers (persons using services) or because they have certain professional credentials. A physician and a mental health professional are included. For more information on becoming a member of the Board call the Board office.
The Board of Directors has the legal responsibility and authority for the planning, funding, and monitoring of mental health and substance abuse recovery services in Wayne and Holmes Counties delivered through its provider agencies. |
